For awhile I've been considering that once I actually start taking commissions seriously, I would re-tweak my prices a little. I've thought about actually charging an hourly rate based on how much time I put into a drawing rather than a flat rate like I have in the past. Sometimes certain commissions will take twice as long as I thought they would and I feel like "
Wow, I should've really considered charging more!". This is especially if I end up going through several prisma markers in a single drawing. Dx If I went that route, how much should you charge? Minimum wadge? More? Less? I have no idea! I know a few of my friends actually do charge by the hour for commission work, so.. let me in on the secret -- how does this work? Is it a good idea? Bad? Should I stick to a flat rate commission? What? ?_?
